    Is anyone here familiar with good sources for a 1.8" MicroATA Solid State Disk, such as would work in a CF-07 "brick"? I have found the following, but even at the smaller capacities, the prices seem disproportionate compared to 2.5" SSD's:
    * DVNation - Samsung, 32 GB: $499
    * FuturePowerPC - RITEK, 16 GB: $220.62
    * DVNation - PhotoFast, 32 GB: $189
    * Amazon - MTRON, 16 GB (SLC): $149.99

    Some of those websites also list drives with higher capacities. Any suggesions for other sources?

    Thank you,
    Matthew

    (A Google search of this forum yielded only two CF-07 threads at the time, so I don't think this is a topic rehash....)

    The MTRON is a good brand , I have the 2.5 v slc in my cf19, the best choice if you can handle the smaller capacity

    Thanks for the recommendation. The original hard drive was ~5GB, so even 16GB would be a big capacity boost! :)

    Yeah... that 150.00 pricetag seems to be THE PRICE for this thing everywhere; but it IS SLC and it has excellent speed ratings, especially for PATA interface.

    I'd go with that one myself...
