Hello, I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 (Mk2), I have installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64-BIT and works well; but the integrated SD card reader don't work (the SD Card Reader is Ricoh). All the drivers that I try to install tell me "The latest driver is already installed".
    How can I fix it?
Another thing, can I replace the hard disk with an SSD (Crucial M500 120gb) ?

Excuse me, but I don't speak english very well.

Welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook Forum

Yes you can replace the hard disk with an SSD . I have never used the Crucial M500 120gb but the Samsung, Kingston and Intel work great in the CF-19MK2. I have SSD's in all my 19's.

in theory should support sata 2 (the hard disk controller Intel ICH8M supports SATA II, but Panasonic has limited the speed to SATA 1) :(
For the SD card reader, you know a solution?

My 19 MK2 model is getting sata II speeds and shows it in the intel matrix storage thing. It is version 7 I upgraded to the 8 version and it went down to sata I speeds so I restored the old matrix storage driver.
Funny thing my CF-30 with the same driver only shows sata 1 speeds. don't know if it is a fluke as Panasonic limits the speed for heat/endurance/reliability, but I'll take it.

is that a statement or are you asking if it only supports sata I? When I checked I was using a Samsung spinpoint I think. It now has an intel ssd still reporting 2 speeds.
