Hey all. Been reading old posts for a few days and figured it was time to commit. I'm a Verizon tech and have had work toughbooks for the last 4 years. Specifically the CF-18's and CF-29's. I Finally picked one up for personal use with no strings attached.(CF-29LTQGZBM)
By looking at the model number the only thing that seems to have been upgraded is the ram to 1gb. and the optical drive which I have purchased myself, to a dvd/cdrw. I have been looking into upgrades cause like most things I get into, I can't leave well enough alone. Well it seems like there is not much to do to this rig that hasn't been done at the factory for what I need anyway. Just wanted to say hey and thanx for all the knowledge that has been laid down before me.

Thanx. After the 3' of snow we got yesterday and today, I may be using the Toughbook as a snow shovel. And its still snowing.
