So, I'll start from the beginning. Lol. I had my labtop on charge while programming a wireless receiver, and it starts flashing. So. I took it off charge and it quit flashing. That night I just charged it overnight. The next day (today) I open it and the spot that was flashing is now a permanent spot on the screen. After I tried using it for about 30 minutes...it goes away! I would say that's okay, but I'm sure it will come back when I'm using it. So, any help?

Do you mean the white spot about 3/8 in diameter?

No, that's part of the background. If you look kinda close there a faded part that cuts through the middle of the screen. It didn't show up very well on the picture.

Check the LCD cables and connections that are under the keyboard. Pull the power and battery first....

That is signed of separation between the connection of LCD glass and pcb board of the LCD itself. Maybe one of rubber cushion on the lid cover is missing. Check it out, If not try to add a thin layer of rubber on that area edge so that a bit pressure will do the job but not to much. It may create stress on the glass and then break.

Thanks for the advice! I will check it out. Also, I'm not sure. I haven't, but I bought it off eBay. It was working fine for a week though.
