Last weekend, after I purchased my "new" CF-30 Mk2, I was telling a friend about it, mentioning that the seller had sold about half of his stock of 76 units when I bought mine, and had sold the rest by the time mine had arrived. He said "You should have told me; I would have bought one too!" So I promised to look around for him.
This morning I emailed him with a link to a nice Mk2, and he hit the "Buy it now" button. It was slightly more-expensive than mine, but came with a factory GPS and a WWAN modem, and had more hours.
Then I sent him an email with links to all of the parts that he'd need (drive caddy, DVD multi-drive, AC adapter, SSD) and the "best offer" prices that I was successful with, a note to join NBR and TBT, and the link to the CF-30 wiki and the Mk2 Win7 installation instructions.
So I'm already spreading the Toughbook virus, even before my "build" parts have arrived. lol

and there is only one way to fight the virus....buy more Toughbook's  . Six years ago I bought my first one, a CF-28 and then a few 29's and 18's and 30's and 19's and 50's and 51's and 52's and 74's and M34's and the last one....a 53. I think about 27 Toughbook's in total and then your going to need spare parts and that's another story....

Hahaha, I bought one and am still holding of on buying another one. With difficulties, true, but I might have to buy a new cf-19 mk8 if they come out :-D
