I stopped by the forum last week and lurked for a bit. I was coming in here a year and a half ago or so. I always enjoyed coming in here and like how everyone is always so willing to help- it makes me wish I had more to offer.
Anyhow, I'm just saying hi. Still running a TB. My work gives us a Dell laptop for our trucks. I say booo to that, so I put that one in my house and run my CF-29 in the field. I convinced our county IT guy go get the SGT a Toughbook, he had a Dell die three times in a year. So he got a CF-51. As a result, I convinced them that from now on, we'll all get Toughbooks for patrol. Change is good.
My Toughbook (CF-29H) is running strong. I'm using Win7 on it with no probs whatsoever. Everything works, and it installed easily. The only issue I'm having is my emissive keyboard is getting hammered. My N key is worn through, and some other keys are also. I've got to figure something out, I can't afford a new keyboard right now.
Here's a picture of my 29 in my truck. I detailed the heck out of it yesterday, so now it's like a new truck again.
Anyhow, take care everyone.

@mrbungle:
Looks far too clean for a working Toughbook.
Send it over to Limey Land for a few day's and I'll try it out in a local quarry.... I mean the whole truck and leave the gun in the rack! -
Welcome back
You are working too hard,issuing to many tickets if the keyboard is wearing out
Start giving out verbal warnings -
