Thanks for the quick reply. I may not have been clear on my problem. I dont know where to find the right driver. None of the drivers online I see listed include my odd model number. I have tried installing them all and none will go through. Is there a driver out there that includes my model for xp?

The touchscreen is very forgiving as to its driver. I've been using the same touchscreen driver for every new install I do... Regardless of model type and it works fine. It the way that it is installed that matters most. This forum is loaded with driver threads that have links to CF-28 drivers... You may have to go to Pannasonic in Canada... Or Japan... Or Australia... or...

I have literaly tried 10 different drivers for the touchscreen. None of them will even install, they all error out. I have done it as said the whole time. I spent a couple hours going through this forum for info on this. This is driving me nuts.
thanks for the help, i guess I am still stuck though

Use the driver you think is for your model. One of the ten. I had hard time installing but that driver should work. Its just a different driver installation than what is normal. I think DJACID is right. Extract it first then goto the mouse properties panel and click update driver.
