I never knew what this was. It's a tiny tap symbol on the F8 key. I've tried to recreate it on Paint to show you exactly what I mean. I've attached it to this post. Anyone know what it is?

Just a little extra info. It's a key that you activate using the fn key. When I use it nothing seems to happen...

Leave it to the Asus people.... Sheesh....

We need Gravitar to say for sure. I wonder if it has anything to do with the salt water hardening that is optional. It may cover something you are not aware of... Like cut power to an outside port or something like that... Have you Googled it?

Like Connor said, It seems silly to have a tap as power management! :D Maybe the drips represent the flow of power, like more drips means more power can flow through? Kinda stupid though, Panasonic using analogies on their keyboards.

The strange thing is that all the other fn keys do something except the tap on mine. I press it but there's no response at all. Maybe I'm missing the power management software referenced in the manual.

    LOL...

*Puts on his old codger cap*

Back in the days of yore, the spigot symbol referred to any "power drain". As this symbol shows a "drop" of water, it therefore refers to "throttling" said power drain; ergo, Power Management.
