Ok, give me a hard time. How do you add to someone's Rep? I don't see how anywhere. I noticed the other day somebody has bumped me up a couple of notches and was wondering.
What the heck did I do to deserve them I will never know? That's all I seem to do is recieve help, vs giving it![]()

In the lower left hand corner of the post box there is a little icon which looks like the scales of justice. Click on that.

You click the little judicial icon with the scales next to the green light/greay light (online/offline indicator) and red caution triangle below someones stat on the post you want to add reputation for. You then type in a reason.

thanks I was wondering this too. I was going to ask myself.

Stupid QOTD part 2: what is up with the green boxes next to the rep? I used to think that it was related to how much rep you had, but I have seen people with one rep and two green boxes, but others have 6 rep and only one box. Is it like a progression to your next rep (x number of boxes and then you get your next rep point)?

At least I am in good company!
Thanks Cap. -
I know this sounds stupid, it is, but here's how it works. Rep power seems to be related to how many posts you have. The green "jelly beans" (thanks to Tomcat) reflect how much rep you have received from others. So, the more posts you make the more power you have, the more rep you receive the more green "jelly beans". It seems to me that rep power should be related to the opinion of your peers, not volume of posts, all of which might be drivel. The worse part of the system is where you are required to "spread some rep around", ie if you want to thank TB or the Dragon or Ohlip for some help you have received you can't until you give some to someone who doesn't deserve it. It might make sense on the other forums but I don't think it makes sense here.

Tomcats guide to Rep
1) You need to look for one of my posts, Preferably look for a helpful one ,not one that I have given out bad information
2) You need to find the scales , not the report post as that could Ban me
3) Hit it, and you can leave a comment if you wish
Btw, as Cap would say
This info is found in the top sticky
