Kind of an obscure question, but was curious if anyone else has had any luck. I've got several CF-27 MK1's (pentium 266) with a 12.1" display, and several Mk2 (PII-300) with a 10.4" display. I would like to use the 12" screen on the Mk2's, but it did not work when I plugged it in. It lit up but got a garbage display. Is there a switch that can be set or other means to make this work?

I think I can safely say that we both joined this forum (2 of us for now and hopefully more coming) with the intention of helping others - don't worry, you aren't being a PITA!!! :)

I have my hands full with the CF-18/19's - that is what I consistently work on anyway. I will look up the information tomorrow gravitar and get with one of the techs on the CF-27's for the most accurate information possible.

Don't be afraid to ask questions - we came here to help.

WOW! Now how cool is that. Where else would you find actual techs that will bestow their knowledge in a forum setting without recourse and actually encourage us to "BRING IT ON!!" I am in shock. Kudos to you both.

gravitar, I forgot about this until the end of the day. Most of the techs had already left. I will have to get someone with direct experience on the CF-27's as the information is a bit dated. I'll give it another try tomorrow. Sorry.

no problem! just whenever you get around to it. and as long as you're asking questions of someone that knows the 27s, ask them what the little toggle switch in the memory module compartment is for. The board is silkscreened "SW3" and "ON" / "OFF", but I haven't been able to figure out what (if anything) it is turning on/off!
