I have 2 CF-28s Toughbooks.
A MK1 600Mhz with touchscreen
and a MK2 800Mhz without touchscreen.
Is it possible to swap the touchscreen so, that my MK2 has the touchscreen ?
the part numbers are :
CF_28MCFAZFE (600Mhz mk1)
CF-28P3JGZKM (800Mhz Mk2)
I already have removed the keyboards, but it seems that the metal cooling plates are a bit difrent between these 2.
So, i tought, i better ask it before to the Experts here, before i start this, and might end up with incompatibility between the two toughbooks/screens.

Go ahead! its fine but you do need to undress a bit the lcd pigtail and make sure you slide in the connector plug properly. Or you may also change the LCD harness from non ts together with ts pcb. Either way will do the job.

Ohlip, do you mean, that i can just remove the screen (including the case), and then put it on the other CF-28 ? (including connecting the connector to the mobo) ? That would make it easy.
When i gonna try this, i will keep you updated. Now , time for some coffee.
