Is the bluetooth in the CF-29 removeable or is it built on the motherboard? It is installed in my 1.2 (CF-29C) and would like to pull it and install it in my 1.4 (CF-29H). I tried to look it up in my service manual but it does not list a bluetooth or I missed it . The manual I have covers all 29's . ( CF-29XXXXXX ) I know I could add a PCMCIA card but thats just too easy.

Easy to swap one to the other... Just unscrew, unplug and swap....

It should be all assessable by removing the hinge covers and keyboard... Just remember to REMOVE your battery first! (I know... It goes without saying... But you'd be surprised!)

Well I took them both apart and swapped the keyboard and bluetooth and put them in the CF-29 MK3 . It wasn't to bad but if anyone does this like I did you will need to use the hinge cover from the bluetooth machine because the one that did not have bluetooth in it is different and will not fit or you could get the grinder out and mod it
. You will see what I mean if you do this.

Are you talking about the brass pole that goes down into the laptop?
