    Swapping out mother boards on Pan. toughbooks cf-28's

    does anyone know if I can swap out motherboards from a CF-28'S even if one of them is has touchscreen and the other does not! the 'Officer Black model is loaded with everything I want except it's speed is 256 no prob upgrading there but the Processor is only 600MHz the basic Silver is 800MHz and 512 non-lite keys and not touchscreen!

    You can swap 800MHz with the 1000MHz but not the 600MHz. The 600MHz uses a different motherboard layout.

    Yup. The 600mhz is a different lower chassis/MB from the 800/1000mhz. No goesies.
