Within the last 4 months Ive had intermittent connection drops and reconnects many times a day. I was thinking about getting a 5G WWAN card but its not worth it...
In the opinions of the people here, could my issue be resolved or connection be improved if I update the FW?
If I need to update, should I download the current "TMO (Generic)" SWI9X30C_02.30.01.01
or the "Sierra Wireless" SWI9X30C_02.33.03.00 FW?

    https://source.sierrawireless.com/r...74xx/airprime-em_mc74xx-approved-fw-packages/

    I don't want a brick so that's why I ask.

Current EM FW version is SWI9X30C_02.24.05.06 r7040

    CF-31 specs below

So with that encouragement, Which would make the most sense to download?
TMO (Generic) or the Sierra Wireless?

I think you can try both. These are original (not hacked etc) firmwares, so I don't understand why it should brick.
But I still think your first steps have to be like I've described in your previous topic. Keep alive a connection etc.

So I used the TMO (Generic) FW and my connection works but skylight continues to say "updating firmware..." is it safe to restart the system or should I wait?
