I keep having a lockup issue, not sure what is causing it. I think it may be a conflict with the touchscreen driver or something, when I am moving the mouse pointer with the pad (and sometimes with a mouse) it will lock and the HD indicator light goes out. With a standard HD and CF SSD so I think I can eliminate the HD. It started when I installed tiny XP then did it with full install XP, and now with XP performance, so I think is probably not the operating system. Kind of at random, only solution so far is hold power switch till forced off, then reboot. no buttons are responsive when it locks up (other than power switch). Anyone else have this issue, or can offer any solution?

Did you do clean installs of the different OS's?
I have had similar lockups on various machines and for me, it was always a memory issue. Software overload or bad ram module. Years ago I tried one of those CF to IDE adapters in a laptop. It gave me a lot of grief. I finally just gave up on it. That was years ago and maybe they are better now.

The cf card drive seems to be working really great, the lockup was even before I tried using it. I have noticed that it seems to happen when I have multiple browser windows open... maybe it is just a ram mem prob, dunno how do you check your ram modules?
