I do have a CF-29 Model Number: ETKGZKM I bought a Tempo VIP Sidekick 1136-5000 but there is something about it that I don't understand, when I insert it in, the found new hardware wizard doesn't come on. Could any please tell me if this model is not compatible with the Tempo VIP Sidekick 1136-5000 or if I need the software for it, and if that is the case where do I download/buy the software from? Thanks.

does your MP door have the hole in it and inside the media bay, do you have a 16pin connector to the right of the long connector??

It can be retrofitted as long as you have the right connector and wires for CF-29 model that goes to the media bay slot and modem jack respectively. Most CF-28 is equipt with this connector but it is not the one used on 29. I guess every series of toughbook Like cf-27,28, 29 and cf-30 has dif...type of connector but theoritically with the same purpose.
