The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I wanna thank you guys for your welth of infomation, especially "toughbook"... seems to know a lot :)... i found just by reading - the two things that i couldn't figure out:

    STUPID red f11 key
    STUPID keyboard types (chiclet + rubber + normal + emmisive)... i have seen and used all 4 different types.

    Thanks :)... i will continue to read all this site through out the next couple weeks and share my information.

    ditto on the "Thanks to the community" here... and now that it's mentioned, what does the red F11 key do? (beside making firefox fullscreen... there has to be a better reason for it being red!)
