Anybody like the old Intel Proset green icon that shows up in your Taskbar area?
I for one, used to like how Intel's Proset worked in XP. The green icon to let you know it's connected, etc. I ran across it yesterday on the Intel site. It is back for W7.

Here is the link if anybody would like it. They have added some nice features since the last time I used XP. Which was about 5 years ago!

Why do you use it at all? :)
Microsoft's wireless client is much better both in XP and Win7. You can download and install only drivers, without Proset :)

Installed it on my 51 last night. I actually like the new version so far.

Intel provides the user with a tremendous amount of more features that the Windows set-up. Much easier to import profiles, add extra security, etc. Plus I have always liked the green GUI of the signal power.
