For the past few weeks, I've been finangling the power wire around so that it at least charges temporarily with me pressing into it. It was annoying but worked. This no longer works at all.

The problem is the power socket in the laptop itself. The spot where I plug the power cable in no longer functions as intended.

I only have one more battery after this one, and this one is at 50%. What can I do?

If it has the 3-year extended warranty, send it back to Panasonic for repair. If not and you are very handy with a soldering iron it may be possible to replace the socket. In the mean time you can get an external battery charger and charge 1 battery on that while you're running on the other.

Welcome to the Panasonic Toughbook forum

You are going to have to replace your DC Power Jack Port. Hopefully you have not damaged the motherboard. This is some thing that you will need to have done by someone that knows what they are doing.

    Been there.... done that...
Requires complete dis-assembly and removal of the motherboard.

Heartland charges a flat $130 labor + parts +shipping so not a bad deal on a newer unit if just the plug needs to be replaced.

They charge the $130 to even look at it,then they tell you the total based on parts and return shipping ($35).

Probably talking about $175.00 total for the repair....
Really not bad considering the time involved to replace the power port..
