Hi, I have a toughbook cf-19 Mk1 I reinstall my windows xp, I installed the panasonic drivers but the touch does not work. Can you help me please ?
-
Did it work before for you?
-
yes the touch worked but the hard drive broke down and following his change and the reinstallation of the system it does not work anymore. I tested all kind of driver but nothing

What is the full model number of your CF-19??????? Are you sure it's a touch screen or a digitizer screen which takes a different OS.
-
the model is CF-19CHB23BE, yes I confess that it is a touch screen. To see if it worked properly I put live linux and it works but not with windows
-
Exactly I checked and all is in auto. all the other driver works except that of the touch
-
Where did you get the drivers at?
-
Just making sure.
Could be the touch panel failed. mk 1's are known to fail. They can go all at once like that. -
I'm surprised that touch shows up in bios....normally it does not on a MK1. Switching between Vista/W7 and XP requires a bios and ec change.
These look the same except for the No.011543/011542. (See image 2)
If you want XP, open these one at a time in the jp site. For XP you want the one that has Vista -> XP in it. It's in fine print....btw these are screenshots so not clickable.
I would suspect a bad screen if it didn't work in Linux.
Here's some history. Some of it correct.http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...problem-with-touchscreen.740501/#post-9499172
Update:
O.K. it's #1. (011543)

Good post Jeff.
The fence should last a long time with posts like that.....ha ha ha -
what's weird about linux the touch screen is working properly

Post a screenshot of your bios info page.

exactly shawn

Obviously a driver issue, do you have the factory restore disc by any chance? That honestly is going to be your best chance of restoring it correctly. I had it but after I moved I'll have to check my iso's. But I doubt it.

I do have the Mk1 iso in XP and Vista , pm me
