First post here, and it's a problem :(

I'm trying to install drivers from the Panasonic website for a few different things (hotkey support is the big one, but I'd like to get at a few others) and when I try and run the .exes, I get a little popup box that says "This machine does NOT support" and an "Ok" button. Every CF-29 driver site I've found (.com, .ca, .jp, all mentioned in the awesome faq) only lets you download the .exes, which all seem to popup the same error. Is there any way to just download the drivers themselves (not the installers)? I've already gotten the Intel based stuff from their site, but the panasonic specific stuff is giving me a real headache. I'm pretty savvy with this kind of stuff, but I can't seem to find a way to get just the raw files. Any ideas?

My full model number is CF-29H3LGZBM if that helps.

Yes, that does help. But what will help more is if you can hit F2 on startup and tell me your BIOS version number. The drivers you are attempting to download are VERY specific to what "Mark" your machine is. Mark1, Mark2, Mark3, etc. Your BIOS version will tell us what Mark your specific machine is so you can be sure to download the correct drivers. Once you supply that, I will post a link to a file that has ALL drivers for ALL marks for the CF-29. You WILL be up and running SOON!!!

    Here's what I found:

    Bios: 3.00L11
    Embedded Controller: 3.00L13

Is that the kind of info you were talking about?

Thanks for helping me with this, this forum has been invaluable with a project I've been working on. We're bringing about 50 CF-28s and a handful of CF-29s to Tanzania to get a school, medical clinic and a community center setup with their first computers! This forum has been invaluable with getting our machines setup!

EXACTLY. So, your machine is a Mark3 (BIOS ver. 3.00 means "Mark3") you see. Now, go to this link and download all the mark 3 drivers. You will tell them by their name. It will go something like this:
    cpupower_29_1_blahblahblah
    cpupower_29_2_blahblahblah
cpupower_29_3_blahblahblah <--- these are the ones you are looking for
    cpupower_29_4_blahblahblah

all the _29_3_ drivers are the ones for the Mark3 machines. Have at it, and let us know when it all works out for you.

P.S. God bless you on your project and may he cover you with his wings of protection and guide you by the Holy Spirit to bring you prosperity and success in Tanzania. It is a great thing you are doing!!

Hmmm, I tried a bunch of the files you linked that were for version 3, I'm still getting the same error message though. Any other ideas? Is there a BIOS update for this I might need to apply first? Its not very critical that I have hotkeys working or any of the other Panasonic utilities, but if you do have any other options I'm all ears.

uninstall then reinstall all drivers on the list. If that does not work, then you will have to reinstall the OS.

I had that problem when I was wet behind the ears with the 29s that I recieved from San Antonio (I think there is something in the water there, haha Mnem!) They were custom order machines so some of the drivers I had to throw on them were actually mk1 drivers and not mk2 drivers. Maybe if what doobi says doesn't help try installing drivers from older "marks".

Just download all drivers for MK3 except for touchscreen coz your model is not.

After you download all of the drivers, Extract one by one using winrar and create a folder for each driver. Then install it manually and your set.

I'll try this, didn't see that the thread got a few extra replies. See how it goes, thanks again guys!

Edit: This did the trick, awesome! Didn't realize you could extract from an .exe, but I guess if it's just a special archive folder that self extracts and runs some other stuff. Neat!
