I recently installed the toshiba bt stack/software after needing additional functionality on my dongle. ;p

The toshiba software is preactivated for toshiba hardware or you may "activate" it for $30. Which got me thinking: why not just use a toshiba adapter.
The toshiba usb dongle is certainly easy enough, but also, $30, and I'm a cheap bass turd.
So, I found the PA3608U-1BTM board that installs in the toshiba x200/205 laptop for about $5, delivered.

It has a pigtail with a flat plug style connector on it: I have delusions of installing it on cn52 usb (under the kb). But i'm not sure if it's a serial or usb interface (the toshiba bt board).

(afaik, there is also a serial port on the cf29 keyboard aux board, as well.

I also posted this over in the toshiba section of nbr, but got no replies. I feel as though we ( you all) are more savy on such mods and would get better luck here.

I think that board fits a x205 or a200. Quick Google search.
Maybe search for a diagram / schematic / service manual for one of those units.
Then find the correct port for the PA3608u.
I bet the u signifies usb, but that's a guess.
