I have long been in search of the perfect Bluetooth Solution for my CF-29! I have a Mini-USB device that I have been evaluating, but that leaves the question of what BT Stack?

The standard Microsoft BT Stack is, technically speaking, the SUX. It supports very few profiles!

The Wadcom/Billington Stack is nice, but I have had issues with it on Win7. There may however be a later version since I last tried....

The Toshiba Stack is also very nice. It runs quite well so far on the CF-29 with the Mini-USB device I am using. This is the same mini-USB that one of the members was selling. If anyone knows how to contact him, this stack works well with it!

If you want to try the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack for non-Toshiba Notebooks 8.00.03 yourself, get it here:

    X32 Version: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/ ... ion/15159/
    X86 Version: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/ ... ion/15160/

For what it is worth, Toshiba no longer sells it Bluetooth Stack for Non-Toshiba Notebooks. This is the last version above. So far, I am pretty happy with it, but sometimes getting Bluetooth to work correctly seems more art then science. [IMG]
