Ever since getting my Toughbook I am seeing them all over the place. I have seen one in use on MythBusters, Smash Labs, some Scuba Diving documentary, and I know I saw one in a movie I saw recently......just cannot remember the name.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing after getting their first Toughbook. Where else have you seen the Toughbook in operation? Real Life? TV? Movies? I saw one in use at a local FLEA MARKET of all places, made me want to go get mine from the van, and bring it in to show the guy!
We almost need a secret handshake or something! I come from the East - down a very TOUGH road guided by the light of the LCD, and knowledge of the Great "G"PS!!!

    ;)

I've seen one on 'Jericho' - survived the EMP, and in 'Stargate SG1' I think. Oh, and in 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', the lappy Anjelina Jolie had early in the movie, that got blown up (not very realistic for a TB, though the HD survived) was a Toughbook model.

TV show Law and Order uses 'em.

Jericho ought to have them in the credits, they show them so much!

Looking at the thread title, I thought this thread was going to feature images with TBs in the jungle with wild animals.

    Or leopard skin print TBs.

Lol. I was in the the theater watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith. When they blew up the 29, I turned to my friend and said "That's not In Warranty anymore!" *shh!* "It needs a new rear cab, front cab, touchscreen, lcd...." *shhhhh!!!* "The rear cab is DFWV80C0496, the front cab is DFWV80A0348." *dammit, stop quoting part numbers!*

I saw one in the movie the Pacifier.

I like how completely unrealistic the Mr. and Mrs. Smith toughbook scene was, when the chick was working on it... pulling the ram out from under the keyboard, and getting the buyer's shipping address from a serial number.

They showed up a lot in the last season of the "Wire". Maybe Toughbook was hanging around the set?

Another episode of SMASH LABS on discovery... they are definitely using toughbooks!

Modly - what are you doing watching The Pacifier ? :D

They are also shown a lot on the TV show Chuck and see them on CSI NY every now and then - they did a cool scene out on a boat on the Hudson with some cool depth finder program running on it - pretty cool stuff.
