    ToughBook CF-19 Not working

    Hi

    I am having a huge issue with one of our tough books and its is a huge problem I am hoping someone can help me, the problem which I am facing is that my tough book isn't turning on. when i plug in the charger the orange light turns on which means it is ok the green light next to that one is constantly on and on the other sets of lights the wifi one is constantly on and when i first turn it on the hard drive light comes on for like a few seconds and then it is off. and the screen doesn't turn on at all there is nothing on the screen just blank

    iam stumped i really need this to work so please if anyone can help me thank you

    Make sure you are using the correct AC adapter..
    Try starting it on battery only.
    Remove the hard drive caddy and disconnect any USB devices and try to start it.

    Try replacing the memory..

    Does the laptop pass post? You should see the hard drive flash once or twice and then three lights flash... That is it passing post. If it is not passing post you're most likely dead. If it is passing post and not coming on after that... You have a shot.

    Try a external screen to see if anything shows. Your screen might be dead.

    It seems like you have a defective RAM or maybe your Wi-Fi card. Take out all those ram and try one by one. If necessary try known good one.
