i waatched the a-team movie and happened to notice that when they plan to attack the convoy, they have several TBs on the war table. Does anyone know what kind they were?

I just watched this last week and remember seeing them but I just went back to find it but could not find where in the movie it was

Wow.....
Two people who even admit to seeing that movie! -

I never watched the show... and won't see the movie...
My guess? They were Dull laptops made up to look like Toughbooks... It IS Hollywood you know!

My CF-30 had another appearance a while back featuring more of its shiny cover. We had people watching a movie clip on it but I don't remember the date. -

 Great Cameo appearance.

Slight "threadshift" here:
I am watching Jericho (again!
) and protagonist
Robert Hawkins is using a Toughbook (appears to be a CF-29) to access a live image satellite feed while aiding the Jericho townspeople in their battle with their rival town, New Bern.

Interesting point, though, is the lack of a WWAN antenna on the Toughbook.

Meanwhile, the government contractor, Jennings & Rall, is using the ruggedized Motorola ML900 laptop, with a WWAN antenna!

I sometimes wonder about the Hollywierd prop departments "expertise."
      -

you don't need no stinkin' WWAN antenna when you can "zoom in to the picture a little bit more and.. yess. clean that up" .. all with a few keystrokes!
 -

Make that three. And I actually liked the parachuting tank air battle, loud and silly as it was. Other than that I can't remember much, not even Toughbooks.
 -

can you steer a tank by firering missiles? i dont think so.
 -

If it's actually Hollywood, complete with totally clueless consultants, it would have been a Macbook Pro
      -

BattleField Bad Company 2 on PS3 and every other gaming system has a multi player part called Headquarters. To capture the headquarters there is a Toughbook on a desk you have to stand infront of that shows up in different spots on the map.

No... but you CAN steer a tank OPERATOR by launching mortars... A little redirection here... and BAM! right over the cliff.
However... if you're talking about the above mentioned airborne tank battle, Ummm no. You'll just change the direction of spin on the axis of the parachute lines... if you're REALLY lucky, you'll twist them up and spill your air, causing the airfoil to collapse. Say hello to a little thing called sudden deceleration trauma...

Blunt force...
ToughBook in the A-team movie!!!
