yup, after months of agony and deliberation it is finally going to happen - I'll have my Toughboooooooook !!! There. I know nobody cares, but I just want to scream... heh. It should be @ Notebookdepot on Monday, possibly Tuesday.

Now of course I just don't know how the hell am I going to get through this weekend... it's Friday evening and I'm already going nuts, twitching and all  ;)

It's a very direable machine, you'll be able to beat the snot out of it if needed. Why did you decide to go rugged?

...Direable? I assume you mean "durable"? (Wow! Even mods make mistakes!!)

    ;)

Anyhoo...we got the picture: Sweet notebook.

You'll be very happy with your panasonic.

    Cheers,
    -M.

I'm about to buy a pair of white gloves, and you say beat the snot out of it ????? I'll make sweet love to it (hope that's not illegal, hehe) :D :p  and then we'll get married and then there will be little baby toughbooks running around the house... (now if you found that disturbing, I still have 2-3 days to wait !)

I didn't really. It's a nice bonus though. I fell in love with this thing the first time I saw it, not to mention that it's the only notebook in the world that has everything just the way I wanted

Well good for you then...and what...direable isn't a word? LOL - no idea what I was thinking, but it certainly seems close to durable, so we'll go with that.

oh... almost forgot this one; I don't have any scale to confirm it, but the official specs say 3.0 kg w/optical drive in. seems about right
