Hello , Iam having issue on how to calibrate the touchscreen of CF19-MK2 as theres a a language button on top of the hairline

If i keep on tapping the screen the language button is the one being click so the calibration wont finish. anyone here that can help how to remove that button in windows 10?

Hope someone can help as i am enjoying my toughbook...

I am using windows 10 FCU in this device x32 bit os

Also I am having an issue with the drivers Fujitsu in the pen so i just roll back to windows default drivers. and now i cant calibrate properly the pen as it keeps on clicking the language button?

First of all is your bios set to TABLET or AUTO? (either one is o.k)...Windows likes tablet!

Verify by going to second page of bios. Then tap F9 to set to default F10 to save.

Fujitsu is a TOUCHSCREEN driver...not a tablet driver. You should not need it.

To calibrate tap SUPER key and begin to type calibrate....

When calibrate appears select it with RIGHT click run as admin. The little box resets registry numbers btw. Rarely used but possibly necessary if motherboard is extremely confused.

    You should see 16 crosses.

Note: After a few more posts the upload box should start working.

The above written bits work in W7. I don't have a W10 machine"

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.

The tough book is set to auto and i roll back the drivers to windows drivers instead of fujitsu.

I did not get what you mean by tapping the SUPER KEY? Where can i see it? Is it in Search bar in start button?

IN W7, there is a reset button in the calibration utility.

What is your full model # from page one in bios?

Do you know if the touchscreen was working with other windows ? (XP, W7) I am not sure how you setup the touchscreen on W10. Will not put it on any of my Toughbooks....too much spying crap on W10 :bigyes:

Thats the CF 19 MK 2 in question. I manage to calibrate the touchscreen and remove the language icon in the calibration setup by deleting my other language.

The problem now is every time i turn off and on my toughbook my touchscreen is gone. so i need to go to device manager and scan hardware changes and it will go back? Do you think i need to reinstall / clean install windows 10?

It seems like my USB touch controller is being hibernated when i turn off my TB?

    Hey mate. Thanks.

This CF19 MK2 comes with Genuine windows 7 Installed and then i updated to windows 10 without any issue. I then clean install windows 10 after that.

The USB touchscreen starts messing up when I installed some GPS GATE GPS SPLITTER thingy. I think the USB got messed up and confused.

I am just experimenting on this core 2 Duo how it will perform in windows 10 and I was surprise how usable it is and smooth in navigating menus and edge browsing is ok.

But i love my TB in windows 10. Its so much better!!!
Windows 10 in my CF-19 MK7 is so fast! and touchscreen and pens works great!

I found the reset button Mate when i am doing the calibration

I don't know how many times I typed the following. It's for any time you change WWAN or for when the motherboard is really confused.

    PULL POWER CABLE AND BATTERY
HOLD SWITCH ON UNTIL YOUR FINGER GETS TIRED. (15-20 SECONDS)
PLUG IN POWER CABLE ONLY AND BOOT. (BATTERY USES ACPI...THIS IS TO GIVE MOBO LESS TO THINK ABOUT)
WHEN IT IS ALL BOOTED UP, SLIDE IN THE BATTERY.

I call it POWER PULL RESET.... :) sometimes it helps.

Finally: remember to save calibration and run as admin.

Just to clarify. The touch screen calibration issue is now resolve its just the hid pen and usb touch controller keeps on disappearing in device manager evrytime I turn off the machine. I can get it back by clicking the drivers changes and it will reinstall again and comes back in.

    Thabks for the reply.

I will try this one later. i remmeber one time that i did this one because i dont want to charge the battery often. I just plugged in the Toughbook and remove the battery and that when the usb touch controller problem starts. I will try this later again tonight ...thanks
