Hey man. I recently bought a CF-19 toughbook which I was told would not work off mains power. After close examination, I see that the problem is due to the fact that the battery ribbon cable which connects the battery to the motherboard is damaged. The cable is wafer thin and it connects via these minute (gold coloured) teeth. Several of those teeth in the middle of the cable are missing. My question is how easy is it going to be to acquire another cable like this?

    Also/or

Would it be possible to solder the teeth myself in an attempt to bridge the connection?

Any help is much appreciated guys.
