The actual GMC Motorhome was a neat package; based on the Oldsmobile Toronado front-wheel drive subassembly.

This gave it a low living area floor and overall ride height.

Now i know you're bullshtting me. Cause i've lost the damn thing like five times already. Had to weld it onto the roof. Its more like a "Slide out camper" Then again, mine was made for the old body 900 (pic above) and i have the new body 900.

    GIGGITY GIGGITY GOO!

    TDH Mechanical CF-30 Jetta Mount

Jack and I did good! Thankfully enough the bolt pattern for drilling through the floorboard fell right in between some cables so we were LUCKY! Two bolts was MORE than enough too! I bolted her down and grabbed the base and tried to pull it loose! All I did was rock the car back and forth! If he needs to have a passenger then he can just remove the whole mount minus the tube with the plate welded to it and someone can straddle it and sit there safely :)

Had to remove a large plastic shroud/cover too.

    ALL IS WELL! :)

I would call it a class Sub-C... for SubCompact. ;) As opposed to the following, which I would call
    no-class campers. ;)
