I have a CF-C1 that was working just fine under windows 7, but now on windows 8 it wont
register the top 1/2 inch - 1 inch of screen touch it just cuts out, but only sometimes other times
it works perfectly. I dont know what could be causing it. Do you guys have any idea
Its the multi-touch model. If someone has some input on it, please let me know.

Did you choose the upgrade option when installing Win8 or use the custom choice?
I went from Win 7(64 bit) to Win 8 using "Upgrade" NOT Custom and I'm not having your touchscreen problems.
Did you try running the Calibration Utility? I personally think the upgrade option is the way to go, after backing up your Win7 system. I have the restore disks but used Acronis to Image my system once I had it running well in Win7 before upgrading.
try this link for touch calibration:

I did try that, but it will not work, under windows 7 now, it works from time to time, but i want to take the front bezel off,
and cant find anyplace that has instructions on how to get it off, i know there are 2 screws on the bottom but can't get the bezel off.
