Hello there,
Just bought myself a brand new CF-C2 MRK1 from ebay, after putting new ram and a SSD in it, installing windows, doing all the upgrades I figured id take a trip to bios.
In the bios I changed boot priority to everything disabled but the HDD in first spot, I set user and admin passwords. Enabled stealthmode for FN+F8, removed the "show F2 during Panasonic logo", and I think thats it.
I saved and exited bios. The charging indicator flashes slowly green a few times, then nothing.
Now the laptop wont post at all. NOTHING happens when I turn it on. NOTHING.
Ive tried removing bat and HDD for five mins, putting them back in and starting, dosnt work.
Ive also tried removing bat and holding powerbutton for 1 min, then putting bat back in, still dosnt work.
Did I really brick my "toughbook" from entering bios???

Just wondering but why do all this...I have seen others do this and 6 months later forget what they did and are locked out for good. Only way to get into the bios then is to send it to Heartlands and $300.00 later.

Yeah... Not a fan of locking myself out of the BIOS even though I could probably get back in if needed. Instead I keep a 9mm in the car or carry with me. Shooting someone stealing your laptop is just so much easier security. No need to remember anything.

But since the rotten SOB is stealing a Toughbook, the Toughbook will save their life.
