I sold my F8 for $2000 a few months ago complete with a Samsung 64GB slc ssd
Happy to say goodbye to it after having it for 6 months
Tinny sounding speakers and not as well built as my cf-74 I was trying to replace
The best thing is the portability on these business class Toughbooks as they are quite light to pack around
I guess I will have to wait for the 9 series before replacing my cf-74

I love the light weight combined with the ruggedness, and quite powerful. The best machine of it's class!!!

I have a W7 (after having had a W2 & W5). Would not have anyhting else. The weight of a Netbook and full laptop functionality.

    Bleahh.

I think I'll keep my Asus netbook as a "kickin' around in my toolbox" machine... I can replace it 9 times for what that thing costs, and it's lighter. And the battery lasts longer... and my underwear don't get in a bunch NEAR as much... I always thought those "business rugged" machines were just the "Wuss version" of a great machine anyways.

Of course, your mileage may vary...

Hey, man... you gotta watch out on the Information SuperHighway. 186,000 miles per second - it's not just a good idea, it's THE LAW...

So I was walkin' down that highway, feelin' like a cross between SuperMan & Murph the Surf, when a Cop comes along and busts me for bein' INCREDIBLE...
