    Yup, thats it. A 1gb module should work, but you'll only be able to use 1280mb instead of 1536mb.

    Anyway, probably I will go with 512mb because 1Gb is quite difficult to find, at least in my country.

    I am back with good news. It seems I was very lucky to find 1Gb PC2700 right in my city. The other good part is that after installing the new memory my toughbook is seeing 1.5Gb. :D Now I am running memtest to check any errors. Maybe this report will be helpful for the others too.

    And a little bit off-topic: Can anyone tell me how is called the application that lets you turn off wireless? There is a topic about this on the forum but is already closed...

    Its called "wireless select switch". You can find it on panasonics website. Just in case the description is not clear, the filename begins with wss. You need to download the correct driver for your mark. The first number in the filename shows which mark it is for.
