    The CF-28 and CF-29 are soldered in but some of the semi rugged ones actually have a socket. Some examples that come to mind are the CF-71, CF-72,CF-48, CF-50,CF-51 and many others.

    I highly doubt it but i wonder if any mobos are will fit other systems (other toughbook models)
