    Hi Guys

I have been battling with an issue all week and wondered if anyone had a suggestion as to what I could try.

I have a toughbook that I need to connect to a VPN upon boot. I am using an old Sonicwall VPN Client on W7. The problem is the when Sonicwall loads it does not recognise the Gobi modem quick enough, therefore it fails saying the modem could not be found. The problem is that the machine is not recognising the modem quick enough and can't dial *99#

    Does anyone have any ideas?

What makes you think that the "machine" is not recognizing the GOBI quick enough, is it suddenly becoming unavailable and your VPN software cannot access it? Is something else accessing your GOBI that prevents your VPN software from seeing the modem?
