Hello fellow Toughbook lovers! I just wanted some feedback on a site I've been working on since 2008. Its a hobby of mine more then anything and my main goal is to make it the best Toughbook drivers resource available. I don't get much time to work on it as I work 7 days a week sometimes 12 or more hours a day and I usually work on it some during the winter/holiday time of the year as I tend to get some days off and less hours during this time so please give me a little slack :) , I know it could be a lot better and I have a lot of cool ideas i'd like to do in time.

I also have a links section on the site, so anyone that has a Toughbook related site and wants to link to each other that would be cool.

    Toughbook Drivers

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as its a work in progress and I'm working on it as I type this.

    Thanks!

I have your site bookmarked and have recommended it before. Seems the MK1 and Mk2 CF-28 drivers didn't come up for a guy on here before at the regular Panasonic site. They only had the Mk3 drivers.

    I LIKE IT !! :D :D :D

This was the only place I could find drivers for an ancient CF-25.

Thanks a million for your hard work to make these drivers available!

I have been back to your site loads of times for drivers. I love the way you have it layout and very easy to find the driver for any toughbook.

    Keep up the good work.

Great site I have used it often. Maybe we can all help out and upload
the drivers we have that are not yet on the site. I have most drivers
on my server also for the new stuff.

Thanks for all the positive reviews guys! I'm really happy you all found my site useful, and it makes me want to do more work on it :D . Currently I've been working on adding descriptions for each driver, a long and daunting process but your positive reviews really help my motivation level, and hopefully i'll get it done by New Years. Thanks again!

That could be very helpful! If you'd like I could set up a public FTP username and password for people who would like to upload there own drivers. Thanks.

Love the site. Easier to use than the official site. Now to only get my touchscreen driver to work on my cf-29 mk5.

I'm glad you like it, thanks for your support.

I can help you with that if its a driver related problem. I know it can be tricky, but the procedure if my memory is correct is:

Use the mouse drivers, (mouse_29_5_d050515.exe) extract those and then go to control panel--> mouse--> click the driver tab--> then check "no, not this time" --> click next --> check "install from a list or specific location" --> click next --> then check "don't search I will choose drive to install" then click "have disk" and and point it to your mouse/touchscreen drivers. That should do it if its driver related. If you need additional help feel free to send me a message.

Thanks Mate. I did happen to get it working. I didn't have restore disks and only used a XP Pro install. I was confused when the touchscreen wasn't working but I didn't have any ? in the hardware properties.

Great collection THANKS! I still can't find the two drivers I'm looking for though. I just upgraded my CF-29 to Win7. The Video driver and Hotkey drivers are what I need. There was a post from last year about using Vista drivers... but I can't unzip with any of my Ops systems!

   The Vista upgrade file is an executable file with all the Vista drivers except TPM(Mk5 only), WLAN and bluetooth(rare). You haven't posted your model #. The Vista drivers are only for use on the Mk4 and Mk5.

    http://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/dl/download/file/011474/s/0bab74de94620001/viup1_29_45_h070034.exe

An error message saying "This machine does NOT support" means you do not have a Mk4 or Mk5.

9 times out of 10 if I get the pop up that says This Machine Does Not Support, if I click on all the properties in the driver files, click on Run As Admin it will work.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the site. Do what Rob said (Use WinRAR to unpack them). Although I don't recommend Windows 7 on a CF-29, I've done it before on a MK5 and I didn't really see any benefit except bragging rights and it was sluggish compared to Windows XP.

I have created a public FTP account for uploading drivers. Anyone is welcome to upload drivers there just try to keep them organized via model number and operating system and they will be posted on the site within 72hrs. Also anyone is welcome to hotlink (leech) drivers from toughbookdrivers.com. I'm also looking for manuals that I will be putting up soon if anyone has any I'd appreciate the help. Thanks again for your support.

OT: @TBdrivers, that's a great looking CF-25 in your avatar. I've been able to get an old 25 surfing the web fairly decently with Win98SE, IE Explorer 6, and a Cisco PC card wifi (AIR-PCM352) - with only 32 Megabytes of RAM and an 2.7 GB hard drive -- with major help from the drivers on your web site, Thanks a Million! Still are a few working CD drives for these kicking around on Ebay. It may be a dinosaur, but it's Tough enough to survive 14 years -- Match that Dell!
