    Hello,

Does anyone have a stencil for the Toughbook lid badge? I saw on the forum that some people created their own badge/logo. Also what is the process of making one? Do you use a laser cutter? What about embossing the Toughbook text and the rectangle surrounding the text?
I saw there is a seller in China selling some of these dogbone badges but they seem to be just plastic or maybe vinyl and painted not embossed.

The ones from China are painted on but I can tell you this much the ones I bought are very good. I bought my truck 6 years ago and when i got it I put one on my back window. It's still there and looks the same as the day I put it on and only cost $1.00 back then. One from Panasonic was $8.00 . Both are plastic but the Panasonic one is a little thicker.
If you look at the picture in my signature that is a badge/logo that a member made for me many years ago . He has not been around since then but he did a very good job. He used some kind of lazer machine and I can't remember what or how he did it....sorry
Now if you were talking anything else for Toughbooks parts then get the real parts. China's port covers for Toughbooks are bad

Thanks for the comment. I wanted to make my own lid badge using aluminum or thicker ABS and cut it with laser at some shop.
When I will have some spare time I will try to make a stencil and give it a try.

    Thanks!

You might be able to just print one out on good paper. I will try it also. I seen people print out then pour epoxy on the print out. making it look very nice

I made an brushed aluminum version label that goes in CF-19, CF-30 and CF-31, I normally only sell them in lots, but send me your address and I will mail you one for free.

It's my good karma move for the week ;)

    Stay safe everyone.
