Been thinking I should stop buying bargain older TB's and save for a latest-model CF-19.
It would be nice to own one but on the other hand watching it depreciate would probably spoil the enjoyment of it for me.
So... no resolutions for me again this year

I was thinking off not buying toughbooks for a year. ;) There is only one problem with that it would kill me, so it not going to happen :)

I decided to quit the fags. Very easy, however, since I bought one pack maybe six months ago, and its still half full. Nothing about toughbooks. I would've gone utterly bonkers otherwise.

EDIT: Fags, of course, means cigarettes over here. Don't get yer knickers in a twist.

    ssdy for me.

.....ares93....... a word to the wise: fags does not mean the same thing here, as it does there......

I used electronic cigarettes (not the over inflated cheapo mall kiosk ones). I quite smoking instantly, and stopped nicotine all together in 4 months without killing anyone, and haven't looked back. I don't even vape (ecig) anymore. Ok, only when drinking.

I am going to turn my CF-31 into a backpack. Going to use 4 d-rings to make some sort of strap system to put it on my back instead of using the shoulder strap which hurts my shoulder for long periods of time and falls off easily.

Ohh yeah, and buy a house too

    I'll post pics! :D

I have the OEM supplied D-rings in stock for my taking :D But thanks though!

I am probably going to take an old backpack and use the straps from that. May need to sew it, so then for sure I'd have to go to Jo-Ann haha

you should make a plexi, led illuminated, toughbook badge and wear it on your chest.
    you could be "magnesium man".

    another thought:
recycled magnesium toughbook parts, strung together in a pseudo body armor suit....now that's just rediculous.
    let's do it.

I wanted to SSD the CF-19, which I already did the day before yesterday, after i found a very nice deal on an intel 320. And I want to buy another TB but I'm not sure which one, CF-30/31 or another CF-19 just incase...
One other thing I might do is buy an externa screen for in the office. And perhaps a dock and a keyboard+mouse. So much you can add, so little time and money :D

First buying one .. then a few. Then selling one, which enables further buying ... Now you've really started down the slippery slope of TB addiction.

Thinking about selling my (actually my brothers') CF-30 for a CF-52 because of the screen size. My office was going to buy me one before I got a grant; now they figure I can get my own :-(
