    Hi,
I think my screen inverter is on it's way out (flickering and dying screen on waking up from hibernate) but I'd like to know if teh inverter is generic or is individul model specific.
Thanks in advance for your help ))

My experience shows the inverter is model specific. However my experience also shows the inverter is the same for a touchscreen or non touch screen of the same model.

I might be wrong though, so I'd wait till someone can confirm or deny my claim!

It really depends on the model... What model Toughbook do you have? CF-27, 28, 29, 30? Is it a 12" or 13".... Can you be a little more descriptive? What is the exact model number?

<But you came to the right place!>
