    Does anyone know if the processor in the T7 can be upgraded?

    If It is like the T2 and T5 It can't. It's soldered to the board.

    I am not sure if it is the same or not (soldered CPU). I am thinking about buying one, and was wondering I could speed it up slightly with a CPU upgrade...

    T7's CPU is very fast. It's the fastest part of T7 ;)
    Just add memory and replace HDD if you want to speed it up. Or just sell it and buy newer laptop :)
