So I've started a thread here: http://toughbooktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=289
I was wondering what you guys think...
I want to get a tattoo about something that I am passionate about... This is the number one thing that came to mind![]()

LOL maybe you can sell your body as adspace for Panasonic
-
I say the logo tearing through your flesh.... Trying to get out...
I'm still thinking what I want for my 2nd one.... On my other shoulder... -
LAME!! For you Rob, you should get "Dell" tattooed!!! hahahahaha, but seriously, you need to check in on a thread here. A forum member is having trouble getting his wifi to connect and I am baffled.
-
Paul, please get me the link?
I will check on this. -
Ask and ye shall receive...

Hey Rob, how about a TB logo tearing through your flesh and piercing the Dell logo as it emerges? Kind of like a swordfish breaking the surface of the water and harpooning something that had been resting on the surface.
-
As I suggested from other forum, why not the panasonic toughbook exploded view of one of those your favorite model?
ohlip -
You know back in the day I used to have a Grid and it was really cool ... back then. I also had a Sun Sparc and a Next! Now a days people do not even know what those computers are.
My point is technology is temporary, but a tattoo is forever. But I am sure that there is some guy out there still walking around with a TI-99-4-Ever Tat! -
How about one that says ... "Tough BUTT"
-
I'm trying to stay away from a particular model as in 50 years for now that model will be obsolete for sure!
-
After seeing this Topic Title, I quickly realize I may be in over my head........LOL.
-
Naw, come on in and poke fun at Rob like everyone else! He still has not made up his mind on how the tattoo will look. The consensus so is one where the Toughbook logo is tearing through the skin. After that, it is anyone's guess.

Mmmmhmmm...
You know, once we're all "jacked-in"... (I expect to see it in MY lifetime) things like Toughbooks (however we may love them) will be as archaic as buggy whips. Maybe NOT the best thing to profess one's love for to, and beyond, the grave...

The soul is in the software... -
No matter how technology changes/advances, it is human nature to "go back where we started". With MP3 players we still like to listen to vinyl albums, with the newest HALO hitting the market we still get a kick out of PacMan and Space Invaders (even Pong!) and as cars get even more advanced, we long for the day of Muncie transmissions and Holley carbs. The funny thing is, as you get older, you are drawn even more to that forgotten youth and how you wish you could turn back time.
-
Why.....why....would you get a Toughbook tat? Save yourself the indignity and do something else with that money.
-
Rob
Dont worry about specific models being dated
A compact and lightweight tablet model on the tummy today will look like a full sized heavyweight widescreen in 20 years

And if you put a satellite speaker on each boob, by the time you hit sixty they should be twin towers! Now where to put that subwoofer?
-
Rob, how about having a bullet hole in that logo somewhere... like that infamous CF-M34? -
Naaahhh... That's where I keep the PUBLIC ADDRESS LOUDSPEAKER...

Oh gawd... I am deranged... -
Just be careful who you let speak into the microphone and adjust the knobs....HELLO? HELLO? CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME THROUGH THIS THING? (The smell of sulfur gas suddenly fills the room!) Reminds me of an old limerick...There once was a man named Glass....
-
Might I say, you guys are all effed in the head!!! WOW!
Bono, my fiance would pay for it... -
Rob, why don't you have someone draw a few examples of what you may be considering and have the forum look at them and give an opinion? I'm sure we can drag out this thread ad infinitum, but I would imagine you would prefer to come to some sort of conclusion soon.

Yes, for sure... Does anyone have any photoshop skills??
