    Toughbook battery serial numbers

    Do toughbook batteries have unique serial numbers and battery ID numbers?

    I bought a couple of new batteries from ebay in original packaging etc which have identical serial number stickers and battery IDs (as read with Panasonic PC information viewer).
    Could it be that a batch will all have the same numbers or could they be very authentic fakes?

    Update:

    I've looked at the batteries info using HWinfo64 and it shows different serial numbers (00575 and 00585) to the Panasonic PC information viewer.

    Not sure why...
