    Any ideas??

I have an RV and want to put in a central computer for internet/files/etc. I have a ton of CF-29/30 screens and parts. Is there a way to Remote them?

Put one by the Driver for GPS navigation instead of a whole computer, one on a cupboard, things like that.

At one time they were lots of them on ebay but only found 2 of them today. The other one is junk for a starting bid of $20.00 + $14.00 s/h

So the CF08 is a remote/blu-toothed Monitor touchscreen? It can work with any CF Models, like my CF Mk2??

That would be a Lot easier to mount/dis-mount up by the driver but it is a little bit dimer than my CF30 screen. Can the CF08 be used with pretty much any Blu-Toothed computer? Maybe a modern micro box with these as keyboard/input/monitors.??

I have one but never did get around to setting it up. Springfield would be the person to ask. I know he has sold a few of them.

I suppose it's a matter of being able to extend the LVDS (video) cable plus moving the inverter up to the screen instead of being inside the main body of the laptop.

Not impossible but a lot of work for little reward. :(

The alternative is a car-enthusiast screen like
    http://store.mp3car.com/products/xenarc-1200ts-12-1-tft-lcd-monitor-with-touch-screen

or a Motorola Mobile Workstation screen? The Motorola screens are built like tanks (and weigh accordingly) and the older 800 series have a custom VGA/USB/signalling harness. I'm not sure about the ML910 screen.

Ya know, I just had a funky idea.
Probably not worth the expense, but it would be wireless and techy...
Use cheapo tablets linked via wifi as remote wireless desktops.
Wireless dumb terminals. Probably need a miminal Win7 install. 8gb ssd would work.

No, not knocking your idea at all! That's how all things start - someone comes up with a crazy idea and that gets the ball rolling!

I'm not a fan of wireless especially consumer-grade Bluetooth stuff. There's just too many variables with interference, lag, pairing issues... it's like cheap Bluetooth headsets - I believe those are even more of a distraction trying to 'fix' the wireless issues than actual talking-on-the-phone distracted driving. But hey, I'm not the government legislative expert... but now we're digressing. :)

    I have a CF-08TX2X1M Windows CE.

I like the wireless router idea.

Where are you located?(edit: MN...I found that part) This thing is for sale. Two good batteries and the correct power supply.

    Just saying.
