I just tried the downloaded driver bundle from Panasonic on a CF-30Mk2,put Windows 7 on it and ran the .exe on the bundle. Sat back and watched it install all the correct drivers, then restart and Winsat ran the video....done!

It doesn't get any easier and there are way more bundles then recovery DVD's.

Just download and run? Do i have to uninstall anything first?
My CF-19 MK4 64bit windows 7 works great, but no hot keys, so I will assume this would fix that issue?
Sorry I am not computer savvy.....

Make sure you right click, run as administrator. Otherwise it runs and doesn't work.

    Tried again as administrator....same results.
Didn't have the annoying permission bubbles this time.

I always ask permission from Bubbles. She gets angry if I don't ask. :D

    Even a CF-30 MK1 pack. Neat.

Reminder: Since MK1 does not have a way to switch between Tablet and Touch built in to the bios a bios upgrade or re-downgrade may be in order. You want the thing to think it's a Tablet (think Vista bios for W7).

I feel a distraction coming on.

I might have to try this today. My sound suddenly has is AWOL on my 30MK2 and for the life of me I can't figure out the problem. I hope it's not hardware! If so, it would be the 1st time I have ever had a hardware failure on any TB of mine.
