Check the bios version and make sure it's not an M20 at the end? I think that's the weird bios. A lot of them have features missing and coded into that bios.

I think Ohlip is still doing customised CF31's. If it's possible to find a really nice Mk5 that's probably what I'd aim for. Only mk5's in Oz for sale are brand new ones with prices up around A$6k+

I have 2 really nice mk3's
pm me if interested -
How about CF-31WBG15LM? It's apparently a 2.7 GHz Mk4 system.
Regarding the BIOS version, where do I need to look on the BIOS screen view to see the important numbers?
Regarding SSD's for CF-31's are there any really good ones that are preferred? I see they are fairly common up to 1 TB capacity now. -

Crucial,Samsung or Corsair, they tend to be the fastest SSD's. Intel,Sandisk are slow for ssd's , Kingston's are also good, just not as quick as the first 2 but cheaper. Just my 2 cents.Attached Files:

I tend to stick with the Samsung SSDs... Though I have also tried Kingston HyperX and one Intel.
