    I have a toughpad FZ-M1 I think I got a decent deal 2 docks a car dock 2 handstraps 3 batts. I5 8gb 1tb ssd

windows 10 pro. I just eviscerated windows update so its finally permitted to connect to the internet.

2 issues. 1st might be solved by the 2nd. Sim Card not detected. it says no sim card even though I stuck one in. 7355 radio IIRC.

2nd more important. I suspect I am missing a lot of drivers (all of them likely) screen brightness does not work so well (jumps from super bright to dim at 29%) can't rotate extra buttons don't work OSK does not invoke etc..

I found this site for driver packages https://pc-dl.panasonic.co.jp/itn/drivers/driver_packages.html#topic02

First is that the right site? second how in the world do I determine WHICH package I need? it lists many "variations" of the M1 but I don't so far find a way to determine WHICH variant I actually have ??

    Suggestions?

    Good site.
Next go into your bios and look there for the full model number. That can help but to really know what "version" you have look at the bios version number. It will start with a v and then some numbers. The v1, v2 v3 or whatever there is is your version.

OK got everything working I think EXCEPT the EM7355. why the hell is WWAN stuff so damned restricted anyway.

Either way for others. the LETTER after the M1 is what you need. mine was an F so when I goto the panasonic site I download the one for FZ-M1(F)

Now to figure out the stinking EM7355 crap.

Tap the top left corner of the screen where it says press f2 to enter setup.
