Does anyone know of any USB memory keys that are small enough to fit down that deep recess between the case and the actual connector? The card I've used on my CF18 won't fit in the 29 because its too wide!

Some gadgets come with very short USB extension cables - like three or six inches.

May be worth a dig on ebay as one of these would guarantee you can use any device you wish.

I have a 6" cable I got somewhere as my CF-30 won't take my SDHC USB adapter. And no, my MK1 CF-30 will not recognize a SDHC card in its built in slot.

You can plug in any thumbdrive/card-reader/etc. you want to with that.

Or get an AKE BC168 PCMCIA dual USB2.0 card off of eBay for cheap. (But DO NOT use the driver CD that comes with it!!)

Welll.... I bought a bunch of those but never needed to use the CD as the card was instantly recognized.... Dare I ask.... What was so wrong with the drivers? Install it sideways?

I didn't even put in the CD, I read a warning somewhere on this forum about the "drivers" trashing things before I even bought the card. (I think it was in one of the threads suggesting the card, actually.)
