Okay... I finally received my new Ubiquiti SR71-E but sdon't really want to put it in yet because I have heard that the wifi switch has some conflicts with some cards... Showing it is on when it is off... Etc. Does anyone have this card in their CF-30?

    :)

Well then I better get at it, eh?

I just downloaded the mobility pack for the installation... I guess I need to pop the keyboard, install it and I'll let you know...

Okay Mav.... I'm back up and running Mach 2 with my hair on fire.... :D

I downloaded the mobility client & driver... I am using the Ubiquiti application instead of just the driver and running it through windows. I like doing that so I can access all the tools for the card. In doing so it has grayed out the option for LAN & WWAN on the wireless switch... But I am still up and running. I need to uninstall the Intel driver now and see what happens...

EDIT: Okay... Uninstalled the Intel Driver/program and still nothing on the switch...

After playing with this card for the past few hours... I REALLY like this card. But I do not see where to goes to 300mW... Only 100mW.

But a VERY nice card overall... Worth the $54 for sure.

This is a quote from forum member 9nine9 posted on Robs site
Doug knows a lot about this as he is into ham radio as well as Toughbooks
Ham radio enthusiasts really understand this better than we do

He posted this info in regards to software available for the EnGenus 8602+S cards
