    Hey guys,
Just let you know that I put Ubuntu 9.10 on my 29 MK1 the other day and it is behaving quite well. Very fast boot up and have had zero issues as of yet. They even fixed the Bluetooth manager that comes standard now. I would not try on a 28 but 29 up would be a solid recommendation. If you are considering using Ubuntu for the first time or want to check it with your system just download the ISO from Ubuntu and run it as a live disc. If you are going to install it I would suggest you have your partitions already defined (assuming you will dual boot) before you install. Have had the best luck with this approach.

Later on - no Microsoft virus's for ME !

9.10 works perfectly fine on both of our CF-18's as well as my second CF-28. It's not working on this CF-28, but neither are any of them right now lol
